About Me
Hello! My name is Olivia Mars, and I am seeking positions in the journalism industry. I recently graduated from Southern Methodist University where I majored in both Journalism and Fashion Media, with minors in Women's and Gender Studies and Ethics. I also was a member of the Track and Field team at SMU.

During my time at SMU, I discovered my passion for writing diverse stories that give a voice to all sides of the story. I believe our job as journalists is to stand for truth. I deeply value these stances as a journalist and do not take the position the media holds lightly, but rather with great importance.

I pride myself on being driven, passionate and reliable. I take any opportunity and every assignment seriously and give it the best I have to give. My work ethic causes me to go the extra mile and drives to me produce as close to perfection as possible. This is accompanied by a teachable attitude. My dedication to truth and passion for the field will produce excellent reporting, and I believe these traits will be an asset to a newsroom team.
